I want to crawl sooooooo..... bad!

So, now that I have rolling over down I am ready to crawl. I can schooch a little bit and wiggle a lot, but can't quite get my knees under my body. It will come to me sooner or later. I am also trying out some solid foods. It is all kind of gross to me (except pickles of course). That is all for now.

I rolled over on my own!

I rolled over on my own a few days ago. Now I can roll over whenever I want to. I am trying to crawl but I don't quite have that one down yet. I can slide across the floor on my back though. I think that there are some teeth starting to grow in my mouth, I cant see them yet but my gums hurt. I found out that I like pickles last night. My granny said that my aunt Stacy used to chew on pickles when she was a baby so my Dad gave me one, and I loved it! Talk to you guys later. Chao.

Boy, did I put my foot in my mouth!

I did it! I can finally reach my foot to my mouth. Now I just want to grab them all the time. It is so fun. I was listening to the new Dropkick Murphys album this morning and I was grabbing both of my feet at the same time. Next... feet on ground? We will see.

My new bouncy chair!

Hello again! My Mom and Dad have been really busy lately. My Mommy just got diagnosed with Pseudo-Tumor Cerebri. That means that her brain acts like it has a tumor when it doesn't. This makes her have too much spinal cord fluid and messes up her vision and makes her feel crappy. This has been going on since long before I was born, but the doctors barely figured out what it is. She got three spinal taps last week so I am getting to go for lots of car rides to doctors appointments and to the hospital.
I just got a my first bouncy chair! It is so cool and I am getting really good at it. I has lots of toys to play with and light and music too. I love bouncing. Well, Talk to you all later.

Logan's first concert - Patti Smith

Oh my gosh! I went to my first concert ever and it was Patti Freaking Smith! My uncle Hisham was super excited to be able to come with me, he came all the way from Memphis Tennessee. My uncle Josh was there too. We went to the Bite of Oregon festival at waterfront park in downtown Portland and it was so fun. There were so many new smells and things to look at. I even met another baby (he could walk though). I loved the sounds coming from the other stages as we waited for Patti to come out. We had to sit quite a ways back away from the stage so the awesome sound wouldn't hurt my little ears, but that was just as good. My daddy scored a signed T-shirt and gave it to my Mom. I can't wait to go to another concert! Maybe my next one could be Flogging Molly, or better yet my favorite ska band The Mad Caddies. That is all for now, bye.

Logan goes to the beach!

I went to the beach for the first time yesterday! It was the coolest. We looked at the water, birds, people, and rocks. It was a nice overcast day, not too hot and not too cold. I love the feel of sand on my feet. I can't wait to go again when my aunt Stacy comes to visit me next week.

Latest pictures

Hello! Here are some pictures of me from today. I keep scratching my face with my sharp little baby claws even though my parents cut them every other day! Other than that, I am doing pretty good. I love to chew on my hands and I am starting to pick things up with them. I am almost sleeping through the night but I don't want my parents to think they are off the hook yet! I still get up after about six hours or so. I love my Mommy soooooooo much. Later.

No Internet!

Quest 256k DSL sucks! Our internet stoped working at home so my Dad is finally going to get highspeed cable internet. Because the internet is not working at home my Dad had to go to the libarary to do his homework and post on my blog. We will have internet at home soon, so you can all see new pictures of me. Until then you will just have to wait. We didn't get to go to story time again this week because my Mommy had a doctors appointment, so instead we read lots of stories at home and went for car rides. I hope that next week we can make it though. That is all the time I have today. More to come when we get internet at home again.

I can eat my entire hand now. Mmmm.... hand. My parents finally found a way for me to interact with other babies. We can go to the Salem public library for infant story time with a play time afterwards on Wednesdays! I was all excited to go and then when we go there today Dad had forgot to bring change for the parking meter. In his defense it is a public library and there shouldn't be any parking meters in the garage, but the ones that are there should take debit cards like the ones in Portland. That is OK though, I can wait until next week. Well That is all for now. Bye.

All of these pictures are from 7/23 .Logan loves his sister Pixie, even when she tries to lick his face off. His eyes are finally starting to change color. I think they are going brownish but will probably end up like Mom and Dads and be hazel. At his last doctors appointment he was growing way fast and is probably around 14+ lbs now. He is in the 75th% for size, today he is waring a 9 month old outfit and he is only 3 months old! that is it for now. Bye.

I am Logan Elijah Salisbury

Hello everyone! This blog is just for news and pictures of the amazing Logan Elijah. This way friends and family can stay up to date with what is going on with him anytime they want. I am going to try and make a point to update this blog at least once a week. This picture is from this morning.
Yesterday Logan found his hands. He realized that they were under his control, and this amazes him. He likes to hold them up in front of his face and examine them for minutes at a time. I know that this sounds like something that is not quite so interesting to most people, but to us as parents it is the coolest! Well that does it for today. Feel free to post comments anytime you want.
